Jan

Hi Jan, Welcome to asdr!   I’m not an expert, but have aol, so I’ll try to walk you through this based on what I did to get asdr (unread) on my newsgroup list. On the aol menu bar, Go To Newsgroups (very bottom choice.) Click on the box:  Expert Add. Type in:  alt.support.depression.recovery A memo will tell you it has been added. Close the expert add window and go back to the window:    Internet Newsgroups/Usenet. Click on the box:  Read My Newsgroups. You should see the group listed at the top. Highlight the group and click on:  List All. Hopefully you should now have all read and unread messages in front of you.   At this point, you can mark individual threads as read or unread. I also bookmark the newsgroup to favorite places at this time. Another note (hopefully this isn’t confusing):  Aol will automatically mark anything read that you "open" and actually read.  Remember to mark messages or threads UNnread BEFORE you close the newsgroup if you want to respond later.  It will save you having to go through all this again. I’ve noticed Aol feeds approximately 20 new messages a day for asdr.  If you’re not getting around that number, email me and we’ll see if we need to do something else. Hope this helps. Glad you’re joining us! Leah Now,
