Laura, If I admitted to hearing voices then I would have lied during a thread a asd. Yes it is scary. I don’t know of anything that silences them. My theology is stated below in quote from Bishop Jakes of the Potter House church in Dallas Texas. If you don’t like it literally it is also nice figuratively. It is what I think of if my mind has thoughts or sounds that I don’t like. It could be generated brain… any takers on this thought. I see flashing triangles in a spiral pattern at the beginning of a migraine. It has very good scientific explanation. If I can see lights because of a malfunction in my brain surely it is possible for the brain to produce sound or thoughts. Anyway it is currently easier to separate myself from internal voices. I’d rather they be enemies because of the negative things they say. Okay I told the truth. Anyone else want to speak up. joyce — Remember the demon tormenting you is on death row. Bishop T. D. Jakes

I do occasionally. Nothing major-not like someone hovering around talking to me. But I often hear my mother’s voice calling me to wake up for school-usually when I’m tired-I haven’t lived at home in ten years. I also sometimes hear someone calling my name-sometimes it’s the voice of a friend, other times an indistinguishable voice. mico

I hear voices when I’m really tired or when I’m about to fall asleep. The official term for this is "hypnogogic hallucinations." Lotsa folks experience this, even people who don’t suffer from mental illness. They don’t bother me except when I’m especially depressed; then they get so loud that I can’t get to sleep. Noon Cat Nick– do you hear what I hear?

: Yes it is scary. I don’t know of anything that silences them. Yes I agree. I have had them for so long I get kind of used to them. It is hard that thought they talk to me and say things to me. I am not feeling at all well at the moment. My memory isnt the best, I feel very lost and I am very spaced out. : Anyway it is currently easier to separate myself from internal voices. I’d : rather they be enemies because of the negative things they say. I know what people say about the fact that you kind of run things through, as if thye are thought, in your head. BUT these are not me. The whispering : Okay I told the truth. Anyone else want to speak up. I think it is a very good subject. Many people have this. : Remember the demon tormenting you is on death row. Bishop T. D. Jakes Laura
