  • Im HOME!!!!……..and other news.

    Question:

I just got in from CA.  During the flight back we got into a storm. The lightning was sooo pretty although it scared my mother to death.  My brothers wedding went well. I love his new wife.  She is cute!!!!  I also played with my 3 year old nephew. He is so cute to. He made friends with a 6 year old girl while we were there and they played together. They were soooo cute. They danced together. Spoiler coming.      SAD NEWS stop now. Warning. / / / / / / / / / / / / I got this in my mail box tonight when I got home.  I wanted to share it with all of you. I am not sure if  it was posted already. I dont have time to do any reading right now. Dear Chip: Late last year we informed you about young Lauren Mercier, a close family friend who was waging a brave battle against adrenal cancer.  So many wonderful internet friends like you quickly responded with words of hope and encouragement…words that boosted Lauren’s spirits and took away some of the pain of her disease. On Sunday, March 22, l4 year old Lauren lost her valiant battle at home and quietly slipped.  She was one month away from her l5th birthday and one week away from joining 60 of her friends for a day at Disneyland, a dream of Lauren’s, granted by the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Her parents, Stephen and Debbie, and younger brother and sister are most grateful to you for your thoughts and prayers during her illness.  They recall how every e-mail that arrived brought a glow of hope to Lauren. We don’t like sharing this sad news, but so many internet friends were pulling for her throughout her ordeal, we wanted you (and all of them) to know. Thanks for your kindness and notes of inspiration, Vicky and Gary Claussen My best friend is my teddy bear!

Chip, good to see you back. You mentioned your brother’s wife was cute in your last post, too. Ahem! Hmm, is it time that you start looking for a Mrs. Chip of your own? (And is it time I started hunting for a mise en gris myself?) I’m sorry to hear about your friend Lauren. And the trip to Disney was so close.
