Flatt and Scruggs, despite their brilliant performance of the Beverly Hillbillies theme, never interpreted Shostakovich by banjo. A pity. You know, Mike, my guess was that the above was outlandish enough to be genuine. Pity, a genuine oddball recording that never was. BTW, did you know that there’s an accordion version of the Goldberg?
