    Question:

I don’t have the foggiest what to write…..  I didn’t do anything really *truly* FUN either day……  but neither day was bad by any means! Guess it’s time to come up with some "kid stuff" to do again in order to get my "funs" in!!!  <g>  I’m taking suggestions — anybody got any??? Positive is that I worked hard both days, made some money, and have tomorrow (now today) off work.  Yay!! oh, and BTW, I’m enjoying my new bed (a *queen* size for "the Kid" — heh heh).  It’s firmer than I suspected, but so far, seems comfortable.  Cross my fingers it stays that way!!!!!  Last time I bought a bed (a single), I spent a small fortune and didn’t get the comfortableness out of the bed I wanted until it was about 7 years old…….  yeesh! Oh, man, I remember when we took the blankets off the bed, hung them on the clothes line and pounded clothes pins into the corners to secure them to the ground.  Tents!!!  And then we would crawl in and smell the grass and watch the ants make little mounds.  All the blankets in the house had holes in the corners. :-) ))  It felt safe in there.  Like no one knew where we were!! :-) )) Ah, the smell of grass and earth …. Anne taking a stroll down memory lane … thanks Kid Streak and Mary :-) )) — For more information about this service, send e-mail to:

Hi there, I’ve always wanted to tell you how much strength I think you show in your "positive thing" posts… even when things aren’t as positive as you would like. About stuffed animals:  When I was little they surrounded me in my bed.  Literally.  Now the few I still have are confined to life on my hutch in my bedroom…  Got a RL teddy-bear with me in bed.  :) Hubby teases (gently) about my love for these little pieces of fluff yet also obliges me by providing new ones now and then.  Don’t know what it is that is so comforting about stuffed animals… – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->I used to build forts also when I was little.  Come to think of it I = built a >canapy bed with make shift curtains….kinda the same principle I = guess. oh yeah, I had a gazillion on my bed too. Then they outgrew the bed, and so some of them had to be stored in one of my drawers. Then we had a flood, 19 inches of water in the house. One of my favorite stuffed kittys from childhood drowned. We tried to save him, but couldn’t. I still remember carrying him out to the garbage bag out by the curb… Mary who still has snoopy and grover and a punk Barney and a pig that grunts Jingle Bells…
